Product Description

IXYS VBO40-16NO6 Bridge Rectifier Module is a high-performance semiconductor device used for converting alternating current (AC) input into direct current (DC) output in industrial and commercial electronic applications. It features a single-phase bridge rectifier configuration with a 4-pin design and robust panel mount SOT-227 package.

This module supports a peak reverse repetitive voltage (Vrrm) of 1600 V and a forward current (If) rating of 40 A, making it suitable for demanding power conversion tasks. The device also withstands a peak non-repetitive forward surge current (Ifsm) of 320 A, ensuring durability under transient conditions.

With an operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C and very low forward voltage drop (1.15 V), this bridge rectifier offers efficient operation and minimal power loss. The direct copper bonding (DCB) packaging enhances thermal management, critical for maintaining performance and longevity in harsh environments.

The compact size with dimensions of 38.3mm length, 25.07mm width, and 9.6mm height allows integration into power modules, converters, and industrial equipment where space efficiency is important. The 4-pin configuration provides ease of installation and secure electrical connections.

This product is ideal for use in industrial power supplies, motor drives, and other applications necessitating reliable AC to DC power conversion with high surge and operating current capacity.

Operates up to 150°C maximum ambient temperature ensuring reliable thermal performance. Very low leakage current provides improved energy efficiency. Direct copper bonding package reduces thermal resistance and improves heat dissipation.

Panel mount design allows secure and flexible installation options. Peak forward voltage of 1.15 V minimizes conduction losses during operation. 4-pin single-phase configuration suitable for standard bridge rectifier applications.

Complies with standard industrial specifications, ensuring dependable performance. No automotive standard certification but suitable for industrial use. Explore more power semiconductor modules and components at EnvMart for industrial and commercial automated solutions.
