The Nexperia 74AVC8T245BZX is an 8-bit dual supply voltage level translator designed for bidirectional voltage translation applications. It features two 8-bit input-output ports, direction control input (DIR), output enable input (OE), and operates with dual supply pins VCC(A) and VCC(B) allowing supply voltages from 0.8 V to 3.6 V. This makes it suitable for translating signals between any low voltage nodes such as 0.8 V, 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 3.3 V.

Ports An, OE and DIR refer to VCC(A), and ports Bn refer to VCC(B). A logical HIGH on DIR transmits data from An to Bn, while a LOW on DIR transmits data from Bn to An. The OE input is used to isolate the buses by disabling the outputs. With a maximum low level output current of 50 mA, it ensures robust signal driving capability.
