Nexperia Voltage Level Translator 8 Elements Dual Supply Bi-Directional XSON8 Package NXS0102GTX

The Nexperia NXS0102GTX is a voltage level translator designed for translating signals between different voltage domains with dual-supply operation and bidirectional capability. It features an 8-element CMOS logic family with two 2-bit input-output ports referred to as An and Bn, enabling voltage translation between voltage nodes commonly found in industrial, consumer, and automotive electronics, including 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5.0 V systems.

This device allows VCC(A) to be powered between 1.65 V and 3.6 V and VCC(B) between 2.3 V and 5.5 V, making it versatile for interfacing modern low-voltage circuits to legacy higher voltage hardware. The NXS0102GTX includes an output enable (OE) pin that can place outputs in a high-impedance OFF-state when set LOW, supporting partial power-down scenarios without damaging backflow current thanks to integrated IOFF circuitry.

The compact XSON8 surface-mount package measures 2 mm in length, 500 µm in width, and 1.05 mm in height, suitable for high-density PCB layouts in telecommunications, computer peripherals, smartphone and tablet interfaces, and industrial control systems.

Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 125°C, covering harsh industrial and automotive conditions. This part complies with IEC61000-4-2 standards for electrostatic discharge immunity and meets RoHS environmental requirements.
