Product Description
Vishay GBU6K-E3/45 Bridge Rectifier is a semiconductor device designed for converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) using a full-wave rectification approach. With a peak reverse repetitive voltage rating of 800 V and a peak non-repetitive forward surge current of 175 A, it ensures reliable performance under demanding electrical conditions.
This single-phase device features a 4-pin single configuration mounted through hole on printed circuit boards, facilitating easy assembly and robustness. Its forward current rating of 6 A combined with a low forward voltage drop of 1 V enhances energy efficiency in power supply circuits. Operating temperature range from -55°C to 150°C makes it well suited for harsh industrial environments.
The GBU6K-E3/45 is housed in a compact GBU package, measuring 22.3 mm in length, 3.56 mm in width, and 18.8 mm in height, designed with glass passivated junctions to promote longevity and resistance to thermal and mechanical stress. The rectifier’s high surge current capability and substantial case dielectric strength of 1500 Vrms ensure durability and safety in power electronics applications.
This bridge rectifier is commonly used in power electronic circuits, industrial machinery, HVAC systems, motor drives, and other applications requiring efficient AC to DC conversion. Its through-hole mounting and standardized footprint ensure compatibility with existing PCB designs and facilitate maintenance or replacement operations.
The rectifier maintains a peak forward voltage of 1 V for efficient conduction. It supports up to 6 A continuous forward current for demanding loads. The product is rated for -55°C to 150°C operating temperature, suitable for industrial usage.
Compact 4-pin GBU package design enables easy through-hole PCB mounting. High surge current rating of 175 A provides robustness against transient overloads. Glass passivated junction construction enhances device reliability and lifespan.
High dielectric strength case rated at 1500 Vrms provides electrical insulation and safety. Ideal for full-wave rectification in power supply and conversion circuits. Set contains 1 Pc Vishay Bridge Rectifier GBU6K-E3/45.
