Product Description

Molex 43045-1812 Micro-Fit 3.0 Series Straight Through Hole Shrouded PCB Header features 18 male contacts arranged in two rows with 3 mm pitch.

This PCB header is designed for wire-to-board connectivity, carrying up to 5A current with a voltage rating of 250V. Its thermoplastic housing is made from high-temperature UL 94V-0 Liquid Crystal Polymer, allowing it to withstand temperatures up to 265°C during IR reflow soldering, ensuring reliability and durability in manufacturing processes.

The header incorporates positive latching via a locking ramp on the housing to secure connections and prevent accidental disconnects. Tin-plated brass contacts provide solid electrical performance, and the contacts are fully isolated within the housing to reduce arcing and improve safety. The product design also includes PCB polarizing pegs to facilitate precise alignment and positioning, as well as kinked solder legs for enhanced PCB retention.
