Molex 54132-4062 is a 0.5 mm pitch 40 way right angle female FPC connector featuring an Easy-On design with solder termination suitable for surface mount technology (SMT). This connector incorporates a zero insertion force (ZIF) slide type actuator that facilitates easy insertion while providing a secure and reliable connection between the flat flexible cable (FFC) and PCB.

The contacts are constructed from phosphor bronze and plated with gold over nickel, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The nylon housing material adds mechanical robustness and durability, with a locking mechanism that enhances secure mounting on the PCB and prevents accidental disconnection.
