Product Description

Molex 87831-0420 PCB Header, part of the Milli-Grid Series, is designed with a 2 mm pitch and 2 rows with 4 contacts. This shrouded through hole connector utilizes a phosphor bronze contact material plated with gold, ensuring durability and excellent conductivity. Operating voltage is rated at 125V with a current capacity of 2A, capable of functioning reliably between -55°C and 105°C.

The Milli-Grid design features a high density 2.00 x 2.00 mm grid pattern providing flexibility for wire-to-board connection applications. The shrouded design offers superior protection by preventing damage to contacts and avoiding mismating through a centre polarization slot that mates with a corresponding key on the receptacle. Locking windows on the centre or sides secure the connection firmly.

Additional design elements include kinked solder tails ensuring strong solder joints and locating pegs that enable automatic insertion, improving manufacturing efficiency. This connector is designed for through hole mounting with a solder termination type, male contact gender, and tail pin length of 2.5 mm.
