Hirose FH52 series 0.5 mm pitch 50 way straight female FPC connector FH52 is a surface mount solder termination FPC/FFC ZIF connector with a low profile mated height of 2 mm. It is engineered for robust and reliable FPC connections in compact electronic assemblies.
This connector features an easy-to-use rotating flip lock actuator which provides tactile click confirmation once fully locked, securing the cable firmly in place. Metal fittings within the housing enhance actuator retention and overall mechanical stability.
The copper alloy contacts are gold plated and arranged in a two-point contact structure, offering heightened electrical reliability and long-term durability. The bottom of the connector is fully moulded without exposed contacts, enabling mounting over PCB conductive traces and supporting PCB patterning design freedom.
Side catches inside the housing guide and temporarily hold the tabbed FPC for accurate insertion until the actuator locks it securely. The connector's design supports automatic pick-and-place mounting processes, improving manufacturing efficiency.
