Product Description
Hirose FH28E-60S-0.5SH(05) is a 0.5 mm pitch, 60 way right angle female FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) connector designed for solder termination. Its robust design includes a reinforced flip-lock actuator which offers easy insertion of FPC/FFC cables and secure retention through a tactile click on full closure. This actuator is supported on either end by metal fittings and held by hooks along the connector's length to prevent disengagement during operation.
The connector accommodates standard 0.3 mm thick FPC/FFC cables and features side catches that ensure secure positioning and strain relief for tabbed FPC cables, enhancing the retention force. Its enclosed design allows mounting over conductive PCB traces without risk of shorting, with contacts located at the bottom and protected by the solid connector base.
