Product Description

Taiwan Semiconductor YBS2206G Bridge Rectifier 800 V 90 A is a quad configuration semiconductor device featuring a 4-pin YBS package designed for surface mount applications. It supports peak reverse repetitive voltage of 800 V and a forward current rating of 2.2 A, making it suitable for reliable power rectification in electronic circuits.

This bridge rectifier is equipped with a glass passivated chip junction, which enhances the device's reliability in demanding electrical environments. With a maximum operating temperature of 150°C and minimum operating temperature of -55°C, it performs effectively across wide temperature ranges.

The peak non-repetitive forward surge current of 90 A allows the device to handle transient current spikes, important for applications in switching mode power supplies (SMPS), adapters, and lighting circuits. The device features moisture sensitivity level 1 in accordance with J-STD-020, facilitating automated handling and assembly.

The rectifier complies with RoHS regulations and is halogen-free as per IEC 61249-2-21, supporting environmentally conscious electronic manufacturing. The typical peak forward voltage of 0.95 V contributes to improved efficiency, while the compact size dimensions of length 6.7 mm and height 8.6 mm enable space-saving circuit design.

The device's surface mount package type YBS is optimized for automated placement processes. It offers a 4-pin pin count in a quad configuration. Designed without automotive standard certifications but offers robust power semiconductor characteristics.

The peak reverse current is essentially negligible at 0 μA, contributing to low leakage losses. The series designation is YBS2200, indicating part of the YBS series bridge rectifiers. This Bridge Rectifier is suited for industrial, electronic assembly, power supply, and lighting applications due to its efficient design and robust electrical specifications.
