Product Description

The ams OSRAM BPX 61 photodiode is a silicon PIN photodiode designed for detection of visible light and infrared spectra. Packaged in a hermetically sealed TO-5 metal can (TO-39 style), it is rugged and ideal for industrial and electronic applications requiring high reliability and fast response.

This photodiode operates effectively within the wavelength range of 400nm to 1100nm with a peak sensitivity at 850nm, making it suitable for photointerrupters, infrared remote controls, and control/drive circuit applications.

The BPX 61 supports operation over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 100°C and offers typical rise and fall times of 20ns for quick signal response.
