Product Description
Vishay VS-C06ET07T-M3 is a high-performance 650 V, 6 A Schottky diode housed in a TO-220AC 2L through-hole package designed for efficient power rectification. This single diode uses SiC merged PIN Schottky technology on a silicon carbide wide band gap substrate, enabling high ruggedness against forward current surges and excellent thermal stability with a maximum operating temperature of 175°C.
Featuring a low maximum forward voltage of 1.7 V, the diode minimizes conduction losses and ensures superior efficiency in power conversion circuits. It has a peak reverse repetitive voltage rating of 650 V and a peak reverse current of just 4.4 μA, making it suitable for high-voltage blocking applications.
The device supports a peak non-repetitive forward surge current of 39 A to withstand transient power spikes often encountered in industrial environments. Its positive VF temperature coefficient allows easy paralleling for higher current capacity. The virtually nonexistent recovery tail results in very low switching losses and temperature-invariant switching behavior, beneficial for fast and efficient operation.
The diode is mounted via through-hole pins, facilitating reliable PCB connections in power supply assemblies, motor drives, renewable energy systems, and HVAC equipment. It is not automotive certified but is robust for general industrial and commercial sectors.
