Product Description

Bourns MF-RM005/240-2 Resettable Fuse is a high-quality radial lead PTC fuse designed for automatic overcurrent and overtemperature protection in electrical and electronic equipment. It operates at 240V AC with a hold current of 0.05 A and is rated to carry up to 1 A current with rapid tripping in fault conditions.

This resettable fuse integrates a robust flame retardant epoxy polymer insulated body, compliant with UL 94V-0, providing high electrical insulation and safety. Its compact size with dimensions 8.3mm (length), 12.9mm (height), and 3.8mm (width) allows incorporation in space-constrained PCB designs.

The MF-RM series is known for fast response, reduced electromagnetic interference, and maintenance-free operation. It rapidly switches from low to high resistance during electrical overloads or short circuits and automatically resets after power is removed, significantly extending equipment life and reducing repair costs.
