This crimp terminal supports wire sizes from 22 AWG (0.2mm²) minimum to 20 AWG (0.6mm²) maximum and carries a current rating of 7.5A. The terminal consists of a high performance copper alloy body with a stainless steel sleeve that protects the mating area and ensures durability while providing a polarizing rib for correct orientation.
The long two-point contact area secures the electrical connection, making it reliable for applications such as airbag controllers, body electronics, and comfort-and-convenience systems. The contact plating is tin, which is beneficial for corrosion resistance and good electrical conductivity.
