STMicroelectronics STD15N60DM6 N-Channel enhancement mode MOSFET is a power semiconductor device designed for high-voltage and high-current applications. It features a maximum continuous drain current of 12 A and a drain-source voltage rating of 600 V. Packaged in a compact 3-Pin TO-252 surface mount format, this MOSFET is ideal for power converters, motor drives, switch mode power supplies, and other industrial electronics.
The STD15N60DM6 combines very low gate charge and low on-resistance (RDS(on)) which enhances switching efficiency and reduces power loss in demanding power management applications. It is avalanche tested and offers robust ruggedness against high dv/dt conditions, improving reliability in high-frequency switching topologies.
Thermally, it supports operation from -55°C up to 150°C, facilitating usage in harsh environments commonly encountered in industrial, commercial, and automotive electronics systems. The device also integrates a fast-recovery body diode with low recovery charge and conduction losses, making it suitable for synchronous rectification and bridge topologies requiring low-loss diode elements.
The MOSFET is Zener protected and designed to improve RDS(on) per unit area compared to previous generations, delivering better overall performance in switching power devices. These characteristics enable its use in efficient bridge topologies and zero-voltage switching (ZVS) phase-shift converters.
This N-Channel enhancement mode MOSFET offers a maximum 12 A continuous drain current. Voltage rating is 600 V drain-source voltage ensuring high-voltage capability. Maximum power dissipation is 110 W for robust power handling.
Body diode has fast recovery performance for switching efficiency. Compact surface-mounted TO-252 3-Pin package supports dense circuit designs. Typical gate charge of 15.3 nC helps minimize gate drive losses. Operating temperature from -55°C to 150°C for industrial-grade applications.
Level of gate-source voltage maximum is 25 V to protect the gate oxide layer.
This STMicroelectronics MOSFET is widely used in industrial, power management, automotive electronics, renewable energy inverters, and high-efficiency converters. It is an essential component in semiconductor discrete solutions offering improved switching speeds, low conduction losses, and thermal stability.
