Samtec ERM8 Series Straight Surface PCB Header ERM8 is designed for rugged high-speed board-to-board interfacing with 100 contacts arranged in two rows with 0.8 mm pitch. It features a shrouded male connector system with solder termination suitable for surface mount technology (SMT).

The housing is molded from black liquid crystal polymer (LCP), offering excellent mechanical durability and thermal resistance across an operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze plated with 0.76 μm gold on the mating interface and tin on the tails for optimum conductivity and solderability.

This 200 V rated header supports current up to 1.4 A per contact, making it ideal for high-density, high-performance electronics applications. The compact design includes an overall board height of 5.97 mm and wafer height of 1.61 mm, enabling space-saving PCB layouts.
