TDK B72232B0251K001 is a HighE series block varistor designed for electronic surge protection. This varistor utilizes a disk-shaped element potted within a flame-retardant plastic housing with screw terminals. It features a capacitance of 2.2 nF and has a clamping current rating of 200 A and clamping voltage of 650 V, providing reliable defense against electrical surges and transient voltage spikes.

The varistor offers bidirectional electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection rated to IEC 61000-4-2, level 4, maintaining its performance consistently up to 85°C. Its low parasitic inductance and leakage current facilitate fast response times ideal for suppressing transient surges in industrial, commercial, and electronic applications.
