JST BM05B-XASS-TF (LF)(SN) is a premium quality straight surface mount shrouded PCB header connector from the XA series, featuring 5 male contacts with a 2.5 mm row pitch. Designed for reliable wire-to-board connection, it incorporates a locking ramp for secure mating that prevents accidental disconnection during production and vibration.

The connector housing is manufactured from glass filled PA66 polyamide, providing excellent resistance to solder cracking. Its design includes insertion guides and polarization bosses, facilitating accurate, easy insertion and alignment on the printed circuit board.

Contact pins are made from copper alloy with tin plating and are reflow treated to significantly reduce insertion force and wear during mating cycles. This header supports a maximum current rating of 3 amperes and a voltage of 250 volts, suitable for many industrial and electronic applications.
