Hirose FX20 Series Straight Surface PCB Header model FX20 is designed to provide high reliability and durability in board-to-board connections with 20 contacts arranged in 2 rows at a 0.5 mm pitch. The shrouded design protects contacts while ensuring precise mating, aided by a unique floating structure within the housing base that absorbs mounting misalignments in the X and Y axes by ±0.6 mm minimum. Large mating guides allow for ±1.2 mm alignment movement, preventing incorrect insertion and enhancing connection security.
This connector is constructed from a polyamide housing and copper alloy contacts plated with gold, offering excellent electrical conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Each contact supports 0.5A of current at 50V, and the connector operates reliably across a broad temperature range from -55°C to 85°C, making it suitable for harsh industrial and automotive environments.
