Molex 78171-0003 Pico-Ezmate Series Straight Surface PCB Header is a 3-contact, 1.2 mm pitch, 1-row, shrouded male connector designed for reliable wire-to-board SMT applications. Manufactured with black UL 94V-0 rated liquid crystal polymer housing, it ensures robust insulation and high temperature tolerance from -40°C up to 105°C. The contacts are made from copper alloy with gold plating over nickel to ensure corrosion resistance and excellent electrical performance.
This connector features an ultra low profile with a mated height of 1.40 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained electronic devices such as mobile phones, notebooks, and portable audio players. The shrouded design includes polarization and keying to prevent incorrect mating, plus friction locking and an audible click for assembly confirmation.
