Samtec MEC8-DV Series Vertical Edge Connector MEC8-DV is a female type edge connector designed for surface mounting onto PCBs with 100 contacts arranged in 2 rows at a 0.8 mm pitch. It accepts cards up to 1.6 mm thickness and supports a current of 1.8A and voltage up to 185V AC.

The contacts are made of phosphor bronze and plated with gold over nickel and tin over nickel to ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The connector housing uses liquid crystal polymer, which provides high mechanical strength and temperature resistance ranging from -55°C to 125°C.
