Toshiba TC7SZ17FE is a high-performance non-inverting Schmitt trigger input CMOS Schmitt buffer designed for surface mount applications in a compact 5-pin SOT-553 package. Operating over a voltage range of 1.65 to 5.5 V, this device provides robust buffering with high output current capabilities and fast switching speeds.
This Schmitt buffer offers a wide temperature range from -40°C to 125°C ensuring reliable operation in industrial, automotive, and general electronic applications including digital signal conditioning and noise immunity enhancement.
Key electrical features include super high speed operation with a typical propagation delay of 3.7 ns at 5.0 V and a load of 50 pF, and output drive currents up to ±24 mA at 3.0 V supply voltage. The input accepts 5.5 V tolerant signals, and outputs feature power-down protection to prevent damage.
The compact SOT-553 package, with very low height of 550 μm and length of 1.6 mm, makes it ideal for space-limited PCB layouts. Furthermore, the device is qualified to the automotive AEC-Q100 standard, ensuring suitability for automotive electronics demanding high reliability.
