Product Description

Toshiba 74VHC138FT is a CMOS high-speed 3-to-8 line decoder IC in a compact 16-Pin TSSOP package designed for various industrial and automotive applications. Operating at a supply voltage range of 2.0 to 5.5 volts, this decoder is fabricated using advanced silicon gate C2MOS technology ensuring low power consumption and high performance comparable to Bipolar Schottky TTL devices.

This device features three binary select inputs (A, B, and C) for selecting one of eight outputs (Y0 to Y7) which will be driven low when enabled.

With a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, the 74VHC138FT is suitable for rugged industrial environments and automotive applications, meeting the AEC-Q100 standard for automotive quality. The input protection circuitry allows direct interfacing of input voltages up to 5.5 volts, independent of supply voltage, enabling seamless 5V to 3V level translation and safe operation in dual power supply systems.
