Product Description

Vishay TEMD7100X01 infrared photodiode is a new, high-performance semiconductor device housed in a compact, surface mount 0805 package measuring 2 x 1.25 x 0.85 mm. It features a daylight blocking filter that eliminates visible light interference, enabling precise infrared detection particularly at a peak sensitivity wavelength of 950nm.

This photodiode's sensitive area measures 0.23 mm², allowing for efficient infrared radiation detection within a 65 ° half sensitivity angle and an alternate specification listing 60° angle of half intensity. It supports wavelengths from 750nm minimum to a maximum of 1050nm.

The device provides fast response with typical rise and fall times of 80 nanoseconds, making it ideal for high-speed applications. Its electrical characteristics include a breakdown voltage of 60V, open circuit voltage of 350mV, dark current of 2nA, and short circuit current of 32μA, ensuring reliable signal readings.
