Wurth Elektronik 686115183422 WR-FPC series 1 mm pitch FPC Connector provides a surface mount solution for high density electronic applications. The 15 way horizontal female connector features a low profile design with a height of just 1.2 mm, ideal for space-constrained designs.

This WR-FPC connector incorporates a flip lock actuator that rotates to open for easy insertion of flexible printed circuits (FPC), and rotates back to secure a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. The phosphor bronze contacts are plated with tin over nickel to maintain stable conductivity and resist corrosion, while the liquid crystal polymer housing offers good durability and heat resistance.

The connector is rated for 800mA current and 50V AC voltage. It includes solder tabs on either side to enhance PCB retention during assembly and operation. The horizontal orientation and single row of contacts afford flexibility in design layouts.
