Product Description
Hirose FH34SRJ is a 0.5 mm pitch ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) FPC Connector designed for SMT mounting with a low profile height of 1.00 mm and narrow width of 3.8 mm. This 16 way straight female connector features a back-flip rotating actuator for simple and reliable cable insertion, producing a tactile click to indicate secure locking.
The connector housing is crafted from polyamide and liquid crystal polymer, making it halogen-free compliant per IEC61249-2-21 standards. The bottom is solid without exposed contacts, allowing PCB conductive traces beneath the connector, while the flat top surface supports vacuum pick-up and placement in automated assembly.
Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with nickel and gold plating to provide excellent conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Both top and bottom contact positions provide flexibility in circuit design and optimize signal integrity.
