Product Description
STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1 is a new three-phase brushless DC motor driver expansion board based on the STSPIN830 driver IC, designed for use with STM32 Nucleo development boards. The board operates with a supply voltage range from 7 V to 45 V and can deliver an output current up to 1.5 Arms, making it suitable for various motor control applications.
This board supports both single shunt and three-shunt sensing, providing flexible current feedback options. The direct driving method is configurable with either 3 or 6 PWM input signals, adapting to different control strategies.
For safety and protection, the X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1 includes features such as an adjustable current limiter, protection against overcurrent, short-circuit and interlocking conditions, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout to ensure reliable operation in challenging industrial environments.
