onsemi NCS5651MNTXG is a high-efficiency dual operational amplifier designed for power line drivers and similar industrial power amplification applications. Featuring an 80 MHz gain bandwidth product and accommodating a supply voltage from 6 V to 12 V, this 20-pin surface mount QFN device combines low distortion with robust power handling.
The dual operational amplifiers include a small-signal op-amp configurable as a unity gain follower buffer or part of a 4-pole low pass filter, alongside a powerful output amplifier capable of supplying peak currents up to 2 A and continuous output current of 1.5 A. The design guarantees voltage swing within 1 V or less from either supply rail at 1.5 A output, ensuring improved signal-to-noise ratio for demanding signal integrity.
Programmable current limit is set with a single resistor to tailor protection per application. The device incorporates two independent thermal flags with hysteresis: a thermal warning flag configurable for user-defined thresholds and a thermal error flag that triggers shutdown above 150°C junction temperature for safe operation.
