Renesas Electronics TW9910-NB2-GR Decoder IC is a sophisticated low power video decoder integrated circuit in a 48-pin QFN package designed for NTSC, PAL, and SECAM analog video standards. It supports automatic detection of video formats including NTSC and various PAL variants, enabling versatile use across global video systems.
This IC features software selectable analog inputs for flexible combinations of composite video baseband signal (CVBS) and luminance/chrominance (Y/C) inputs, enhancing adaptability in different video capture setups. It incorporates an analog anti-alias filter that improves the quality of video signals before analog-to-digital conversion.
Two high precision 10-bit ADCs and an analog clamping circuit facilitate accurate signal digitization with minimal distortion. Programmable gain controls - including static gain and automatic gain control - on the luminance channel provide precise image brightness management. Additionally, the white peak control and an advanced 4-H adaptive comb filter enable superior Y/C separation and signal clarity.
