Product Description

Samtec SS4-50-3.00-L-D-K-TR straight surface PCB socket is a high-density, low profile board-to-board connector designed for demanding electronic applications. Featuring 100 contacts arranged in 2 rows with an ultra fine 0.4 mm pitch, this socket strip ensures reliable connections while saving valuable PCB space. The housing is crafted from black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), providing excellent mechanical stability and thermal resistance.

The contacts are made from phosphor bronze with a 0.25μm thick gold plating on the contact areas, complemented by a matte tin plating on the tails. This design supports a current rating of 1.3A and a stacking height of 6 mm, offering versatility for compact electronic assemblies.

The SS4 series incorporates Razor Beam™ contacts with a 1 mm contact swipe for secure and high speed data transmission. This connector series also features a polarized design with undercut retention notches that provide tactile feedback and superior withdrawal force during mating and de-mating cycles.
