DiodesZetex D5V0L1B2WS-7 is a 1-element bi-directional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) diode designed for reliable over-voltage protection in electronic circuits. It delivers a peak pulse power dissipation of 84 watts, making it suitable for safeguarding sensitive electronics from voltage spikes and transient surges common in industrial, automotive, and consumer electronic applications.
Featuring a compact 2-pin SOD-323 surface mount package, this diode is designed for PCB space-saving assembly with precise dimensions of 1.8 mm length, 1.4 mm width, and 1.1 mm height. Its bi-directional configuration allows protection on differential data lines or power lines, effectively clamping voltage surges in both directions.
The device has a minimum breakdown voltage (Vbr) of 6 V and a maximum reverse stand-off voltage (Vwm) of 5 V, with a clamping voltage rating of 14 V. This ensures excellent suppression of transient voltages to safe levels for downstream components. The peak pulse current capability is 6 A, enabling it to withstand intense transient currents.
