onsemi MC14526B is a monolithic counter IC featuring MOS P-channel and N-channel enhancement mode devices. This surface-mounted counter supports uni-directional counting with a maximum supply voltage of 18V, suitable for applications requiring robust performance over a temperature range from -55°C to 125°C.

The IC is presettable and can be cascaded for synchronous down counting, equipped with a decoded "0" state output for divide-by-N applications. Its cascade feedback input simplifies the design by enabling cascade divide-by-N operation without additional logic gates, which improves circuit efficiency.

The inhibit input allows disabling the pulse counting or can serve as a negative edge clock, providing flexibility in control schemes.
