The Vishay SMC3K10CAHM3_A/H is a bi-directional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronic components from voltage transients. Packaged in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount format, it delivers a peak pulse power dissipation of 3 kW with a 10/1000 μs waveform, ideal for absorbing surges induced by inductive load switching, automotive load dumps, and lightning transients.
This TVS diode features a minimum breakdown voltage of 11.1 volts, with a maximum reverse stand-off voltage of 10 volts, ensuring the device clamps voltage spikes effectively at a maximum clamping voltage of 17 volts, thereby safeguarding circuit integrity. It supports a broad temperature range from -55°C to 150°C, making it suitable for industrial, automotive, telecommunications, and consumer electronics applications where robust environmental tolerance is required.
The maximum peak pulse current rating of 176 amps allows the diode to handle very high surge currents. Its low reverse leakage current of only 1 microampere minimizes power dissipation and enhances overall circuit efficiency. It also conforms to the automotive AEC-Q101 standard, verifying suitability for automotive system protection.
This product is fully RoHS compliant. The small footprint surface mount package enhances production efficiency with easy PCB placement and assembly. It is a preferred transient voltage suppression solution for protecting ICs, MOSFETs, sensor units, and communication lines in sensitive electronics.
Offers bidirectional transient voltage suppression for circuit protection. 3 kW peak pulse power dissipation (10/1000 μs waveform). Compact DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package. Minimum breakdown voltage 11.1 V and max reverse stand-off voltage 10 V.
Clamping voltage maintained at 17 V for effective transient limiting. Wide temperature range from -55°C to 150°C for harsh environments. Maximum peak pulse current 176 A for high surge handling. Low reverse leakage current of 1 μA reduces power consumption.
AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications. RoHS compliant for environmental safety.
Suitable for industrial, automotive, telecommunications, water treatment, and commercial electronics protection applications. This TVS diode provides reliable performance in demanding transient protection scenarios, ensuring enhanced device longevity and system integrity.
