Vishay VSMB3940X01-GS08 is a high-speed infrared emitting diode (IR LED) designed in a compact PLCC-2 surface mount package with dimensions 3.5 x 2.8 x 1.75 mm. It features a peak wavelength of 940 nm optimized for infrared applications requiring efficient light emission with low forward voltage.
This IR LED emits a radiant flux of 40 mW and provides a radiant intensity of 13 mW/sr with a wide 120° beam angle, making it suitable for diverse industrial and commercial applications such as IrDA compatible data transmission, miniature light barriers, photointerrupters, optical switches, shaft encoders, and various control and drive circuits.
