Vishay VCNL4020X01-GS08 is a high-performance Proximity and Ambient Light Sensor with integrated infrared emitter designed for precise proximity detection up to 200 mm and ambient light sensing with human eye sensitivity. It is packaged in a compact 10-pin surface mount form factor measuring 4.9 mm in length, 2.4 mm width, and 830 μm height.

This sensor operates within a voltage range from 2.5 V to 3.6 V and supports a maximum switching frequency of 3.4 MHz, making it suitable for fast and accurate sensing applications. It features an open drain digital output and I²C serial interface with 16-bit effective resolution to facilitate digital communication with host devices.
