Product Description

DiodesZetex AL5890-15P1-13 is a linear constant current display driver specifically designed for LED applications with an operating voltage up to 400V. This 2-pin device provides a simple and cost-effective solution for regulating LED current with excellent temperature stability and current accuracy of ±10%, ensuring consistent brightness and performance across a wide voltage and temperature range.

The AL5890 series drivers are offered with fixed output current options of 10mA, 15mA, 20mA, 30mA, and 40mA, negating the need for external current setting resistors. The driver supports both high-side and low-side driving of LED chains, turning on when the voltage difference between the input and output exceeds 7V. Thanks to its thermal foldback protection and implemented within a thermally enhanced PDI123 package, it is robust for long LED chain applications up to 400V, subject to package thermal constraints.

Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial, commercial, and decorative LED lighting environments. The device is fully lead-free, halogen, and antimony free, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
