Product Description
Broadcom AFBR-57B4APZ is a high-performance fibre optic transceiver designed for data communications over multimode fibers. It enables system designers to implement data transmission from DC to 50 MBaud over distances up to 2 km using 62.5 µm/125 µm multimode fibers. This transceiver features an LC duplex connector and meets RoHS and UL standards, manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified facility in the Philippines.
This surface mount SFP module incorporates an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter with typical rise and fall times of 0.5 ns and 0.3 ns respectively, along with an integrated PIN diode and digital receiver. It supports a single 3.3 V power supply and outputs LVTTL signal type.
The device is hot pluggable and compliant with SFP MSA specifications, allowing for easy integration and replacement in optical communication systems. The module's low current draw and power dissipation enhance energy efficiency, while integrated electronics provide excellent EMI and EMC behavior.
