Product Description

The ICP DAS USA TGW-715 Data Acquisition Module is an industrial-grade device designed for efficient data communication in automation and monitoring systems. It supports RJ45 Ethernet connectivity, enabling reliable communication over TCP/IP networks. Powered by 12 to 48 V DC or via Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant with IEEE 802.3af class 1, this module offers flexible power options suitable for various industrial applications.

This compact gateway facilitates communication between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII serial devices, eliminating the limitations of traditional serial cable length. Featuring one Ethernet port (10/100 Base-TX) and one RS-485/RS-422 port, it supports both master and slave roles for Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII protocols. The embedded 32-bit microcontroller efficiently manages network traffic and ensures smooth communication.

Configuration is simplified through the built-in web server which provides a user-friendly interface to modify network and serial port settings, including DHCP/static IP and gateway masks. The device supports multiple protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, BOOTP, and TFTP, as well as UDP responder functionality for easy device discovery.
