Product Description
Glenair GMSM2-4P-6K7-18B is a terminated D-Sub Connector from the GMSM series designed for high-reliability electronic and electrical applications. It features solid copper conductors and operates at a rated voltage of 600 Vrms, making it suitable for demanding industrial, automation, and communications systems.
The connector includes an 18-inch length of 10 colour repeating 26 AWG Teflon® wire, meeting MIL-DTL-83513 military specifications. The nickel-plated connector shell is machined from aluminum and fully potted with epoxy to provide excellent mechanical strength and environmental resistance.
Gold plated Twistpin contacts are rated for current up to 3 Amps, ensuring durable, low resistance electrical connections. The dielectric withstand voltage rating is 600 Vac at sea level and 150 Vac at high altitudes (up to 70,000 feet), enabling reliable operation in aerospace and harsh environments.
Additional features include fluorosilicone interfacial seals to protect against contaminants, a low-level contact resistance maximum of 32 milliohms, and a compact, single row, low profile design to maximize space savings within equipment.
