ams OSRAM SFH 4640 MIDLED IR LED is a new high power infrared emitter designed in the MIDLED low profile surface mount package, measuring 3.3 x 2.35 x 1.7 mm. This top-looking IR LED emits narrow beam infrared light with a peak wavelength of 950 nm. Equipped with 2 pins and a round lens, it provides radiant flux of 55 mW and radiant intensity of 60 mW/sr, with an angle of half intensity at 15°.

This IR LED is ideal for a variety of industrial and commercial uses including infrared illumination for cameras, IR data transmission, remote control systems, and automotive sensor applications where a reliable IR emitter is necessary.
