TE Connectivity 4-640427-0 10-Way IDC Connector Female for Cable, 1 Row is a high-quality MTA-156 series interconnect designed for efficient mass termination of wires in electronic assemblies. Rated for 7 amps at 600 volts AC, this connector features a right angle, shrouded design with ten female IDC socket contacts on a 3.96 mm pitch centerline. The contacts are plated with tin over nickel for corrosion resistance and excellent conductivity. The white nylon housing meets UL94V-2 flammability standards and includes molded ribs to prevent incorrect mating.

Using insulation displacement contact technology, this connector enables fast, one-step assembly onto stranded discrete wires sized from 18 to 26 AWG without requiring wire stripping. The locking ramps and polarization tabs provide secure and error-free connections.
