STMicroelectronics L6470H is a fully integrated stepper motor driver IC designed for precision motion control of 2-phase bipolar stepper motors. It delivers a maximum IGBT collector current of 3 A and peak output current up to 7 A, supporting supply voltages from 8 V up to 45 V. This device is enclosed in a compact 36-pin TSSOP surface mount package measuring 9.8 mm length, 4.5 mm width, and 1.05 mm height, making it suitable for PCB layouts requiring compact, high-performance motor control solutions.
The IC features an analog mixed signal architecture with dual low RDS(on) DMOS full bridge power stages and accurate on-chip current sensing.
