Product Description

MEAN WELL RPS-400-24-TF is a 252W switching power supply designed for medical and industrial use. It features a 24V DC output voltage and 16.7A output current, mounted in a compact chassis form factor measuring 130mm length, 66.5mm width, and 66.5mm depth. It operates over a wide temperature range of -30°C to 70°C and supports a universal AC input ranging from 80V AC to 370V DC.

This power supply has high efficiency of 93% and is approved under various international standards including IS 13252(Part1)/IEC 60950-1, UL 62368-1, TUV EN60601-1 among others, ensuring certified medical safety with two MOPP barriers. It provides reliable operation with multiple safeguards against short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature failure modes.

The device supports both Class I (with FG) and Class II (no FG) grounding designs, making it suitable for BF rated patient-contact medical equipment. It includes features such as low leakage current, built-in power factor correction, remote sense function, and LED indicator for power status. Cooling is managed by free air convection for 250W and fan forced air at 25CFM for 400W configurations.
