Product Description
Flowline LU10 Ultrasonic Level Switch from the Switch-Tek Series is a premium ultrasonic level sensor designed for vertical mounting applications in industrial liquid level detection. The unit features a durable polypropylene housing and fluorelastomer gasket, ensuring compatibility with chemically aggressive, solvent, hydrocarbon, and petroleum-based liquids.
This intrinsically safe sensor incorporates a 3-meter cable and operates within a temperature range between -40°C and 80°C. It is rated for a maximum pressure of 10 bar and supports a maximum DC voltage of 36V, making it suitable for demanding process environments.
The Switch-Tek series is CSA approved for hazardous locations including Groups A and E and different classes, although this particular model does not carry hazardous area certification. Its design allows mounting either through the tank’s side or top for high or low level alarms.
This level switch uses a NO/NC 60VA wiring polarity relay and can be utilized as a redundant alarm system within classified applications. The sensor is compatible with Smart Trak and Switch Pak installation fittings, enhancing its adaptability.
