DiodesZetex AL5890-20P1-13 is a linear constant current display driver designed for LED applications, delivering a stable 400V operating voltage suitable for long LED chains, subject to package thermal limitations. This driver provides excellent temperature stability and ±10% current tolerance across a broad voltage and temperature range, ensuring consistent LED performance.

The AL5890 series supports both high-side and low-side driving configurations, activating when the voltage difference between input and output exceeds 7V. Available in fixed output currents of 10mA, 15mA, 20mA, 30mA, and 40mA, it eliminates the requirement for external current-setting resistors, simplifying circuit layouts. The device is encapsulated in a PDI123 package known for its thermal robustness, supporting reliable operation even at elevated temperatures.
