This shrouded, straight orientation header is designed to deliver 28 Gbit/s performance for demanding electronics applications including industrial, telecommunications, computing, and networking equipment.
The contacts utilize ruggedized Edge Rate technology with a smooth milled surface to reduce mechanical wear and provide high durability across many mating cycles. This design also lowers insertion and withdrawal forces, allowing connectors to be 'zippered' when disconnected, improving maintenance ease.
