Product Description
STMicroelectronics EMC1843T is a high-precision digital output temperature and humidity sensor designed for surface mount applications. With a tiny HLGA package measuring just 2 mm in length and width and 0.9 mm in height, it integrates a polymer dielectric planar capacitor sensing element and mixed signal ASIC, providing accurate measurements over SPI and I²C digital interfaces.
Operating reliably over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 120°C and a relative humidity range of 0 to 100%, the sensor delivers ±0.5°C temperature accuracy (between 15°C and 40°C) and ±3.5% relative humidity accuracy (20% to 80% rH). Its low power consumption of 2 μA at 1 Hz output data rate makes it suitable for battery operated and low power systems.
The EMC1843T supports selectable output data rates from 1 Hz to 12.5 Hz, optimizing performance based on system requirements. The sensor accepts supply voltages between 1.7 V and 3.6 V, enhancing compatibility with varied embedded and IoT designs.
