Product Description
Sensirion SHT2x Digital Output Temperature & Humidity Sensor, model SHT2x, is a compact and precise surface mount device offering digital output via serial I²C interface. It delivers humidity measurement with ±2 %RH accuracy and temperature measurement with ±0.3 °C accuracy within a small 6-pin DFN package sized 3 mm by 3 mm by 1.1 mm. The sensor operates on a supply voltage ranging from 2.1 V to 3.6 V and is rated for operating temperatures between -40°C and 125°C, making it suitable for a broad range of environmental monitoring and control applications in industrial, HVAC, laboratory, and consumer electronics sectors.
The sensor uses CMOSens® technology combining a capacitive humidity sensor and a band-gap temperature sensor integrated with a silicon chip containing an amplifier, A/D converter, OTP memory, and digital interface. The packaging protects the sensing elements from physical damage while ensuring long-term stability. This technology yields highly accurate data essential for climate control, weather stations, medical devices, and manufacturing process monitoring.
