Sensirion SEN54-SDN-T is a high-performance environmental sensor node designed to measure volatile organic compounds (VOC), relative humidity (RH), temperature, and particulate matter (PM) concentrations. Belonging to the SEN5x family, this sensor module delivers accurate and reliable air quality data for applications such as air purifiers, HVAC systems, and indoor air quality monitoring. The sensor includes a proprietary STAR engine algorithm that accelerates response to ambient temperature changes by a factor of 2-3.

The sensor offers ±4.5 %RH accuracy for humidity sensing and ±0.45 °C temperature accuracy. It features a fast response time of approximately 60 seconds, operating within a temperature range from -10 °C to 50 °C. The device supports a supply voltage range of 4.5 V to 5.5 V, powered by USB or battery, and uses a 6-pin digital I2C interface enabling seamless integration with high-performance sensing systems.

Mass concentration measurement precision is ±5 μg/m3 and 5% m.v. for PM1 and PM2.5, and ±25 μg/m3 for PM4 and PM10 particulate matter sizes. Integrated compensation algorithms enhance temperature and humidity measurement accuracy.
