Product Description

STMicroelectronics EMC1843T Temperature & Humidity Sensor is a highly compact, surface mount device designed for precise and reliable measurement of relative humidity and temperature. It integrates a polymer dielectric planar capacitor sensing element with a mixed-signal ASIC to provide accurate measurements with digital serial outputs via SPI and I²C interfaces. The device is housed in a small HLGA package measuring 2 mm by 2 mm by 0.9 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained designs.

This sensor guarantees operation across an extended temperature range from -40°C to +120°C, ensuring robustness in demanding industrial, commercial, and consumer applications. It offers high sensitivity with a humidity resolution of 0.004% rH/LSB and excellent accuracy, delivering ±3.5% rH within typical humidity conditions and ±0.5°C temperature accuracy within a common operating range of 15 to +40°C.
